Watkins Glen State Park
This place is just amazing with 200-foot cliffs and 19 waterfalls, is indescribable! Every turn was a superb view that could be its own postcard. No swimig allowed but there is a pool in the park where you can swim. The waterfall next to spiral staircase you are able to go underneath and watch the water flow over you! This gorgeous place began to form about 12,000 years ago, as Glen Creek drained into the steep-sided glacially sculpted Seneca Trough, now Seneca Lake.
Hike Rating: Easy to Moderate (over 800 stairs with some slippery rocks). It's quite manageable for novice hikers if you start at the top (there is a parking lot there). Approximately 3 miles of trails.

Dogs: Allowed on leashes in designated areas (only allowed on the upper trail).
