Tanglewood Preserve
Cute nature trail with a brick walkway surrounding a pond. The pond has been restocked with fish by the New York State Bureau of Fisheries and fishing is allowed. Small but smartly arranged exhibits, quite a few live animals ( such as snakes, emus, cats, turtles, bunnies, owls, goats and some birds).
Hike Rating: Peace of cake. Approximately 2.5 miles of trails (11-acre park).
Cost: We paid $15 per adult and $12 for a child (little pricey). Free parking.

kids: Good for kids to learn and see some animals.
Dogs: Dogs are not permitted on the trails by or leading from the Nature Center.
