Sterling Forest State Park
Located in Orange County, Sterling Forest has tons of trails for hiking , bike, horseback riding and cross country sky. The main feature is Sterling Lake which uses to be an old mining town. Nice and easy trail around the lake that is flat and accessible for people of all fitness levels. Beautiful visitor center with very nice staff.
Hike Rating: Easy to advance. The park has 21,938-acre with 25 great hiking trails (Ranging from 3.1 to 11.9 miles).

kids: Great for kids plenty of space to run around with plenty of trails to choose.
Dogs: Allowed on leashes.
