Opus 40
Created by sculptor and quarryman Harvey Fite. The work of one determined artist, it's a maze of stone on scenic grounds. Worth a short trip if you are in the area. Grounds are interesting, but don't justify attendance fee. In addition to the massive sculpture, there is a large wood and stone home, a studio, garage, blacksmith shop and a small Quarryman’s Museum with a collection of period tools.
Hike Rating: Not a hike only a quick walk. Peace of cake. About 30 minutes to go through it all (7 acres).
Cost: The entry fee is $12 for adults and $10 for kids over 5 years old.

kids: Depending on the age of the child beware the place has lots of hazardous drops and nooks.
Dogs: Only service dogs are allowed.
