Horseshoe Falls
Horseshoe Falls is another beautiful waterfall on Cornell University’s campus. Located upstream of Ithaca Falls. This waterfall can be seen from above but if you walk down the steps to the base of the gorge is well worth the effort.
Hike Rating: Easy. Some steps to reach the base of the gorge.
Cost: Complimentary weekend parking near the Martin Y. Tang Welcome Center. Monday through Friday $7.
Location: Thurston Ave., Ithaca, NY 14853 (Located in the heart of Cornell’s campus)
kids: Great for kids plenty of space to run around.
Dogs: Allowed on leashes in designated areas.
