Connetquot River State Park Preserve
Beautiful park at any time of year. Something for everyone here, short trails, long trails, woods, water, fields, ospreys, ducks, deer and more! The trails are well marked clean and wide. There is a Fish Hatchery with $0.25 buys you a little bit of food for the fish (bring some quarters/kids would love to feed them).
Hike Rating: Peace of cake.The park has 3,473-acre state park, Trails range from 1 mile to 8 miles.
Cost: The parking is free on weekdays until Labor Day and then it will be $8 per car (weekdays and weekends).

kids: Great for kids plenty of space to run around lots of nature.
