Buttermilk Falls State Park
Absolutely gorgeous! A state park is situated in the finger lakes region with a beautiful waterfall to welcome you and with lots of trails and camping spots. Many different trails depending on your ability.
P.S. Watch out for snakes if you hike around the lake there.
Hike Rating: Easy to Moderate. Approximately 9 miles of trails (811-acre state park) within the park. Gorge Trail is only open from early May to early November.

kids: Great for kids plenty of space to run around lots of nature.
Dogs: Must be kept on a leash no more than 6 feet (with the exception of swimming areas).
