Alley Pond Park
This park is between Bayside and, and it is is the second largest in Queens, encompassing over 655 acres. Alley Pond Park is a combination of neighborhood city/ residential park with paved walkways, great lawn, baseball fields, Adventure Center, picnic tables & BBQ metal stands, stone pits and wooded area with trails.
Hike Rating: Peace of cake. Approximately, 3.2 mile trafficked loop trail.
Cost: We went on Spring 2021 on weekend. It was free entrance and free parking. Only 200 car parking lot
Location: Union Tpke, Oakland Gardens, NY 11364
kids: Great for kids, lots of space to run around. There are playgrounds, sports fields and natural wonders. We also saw this Adventure Course at the Northeast entire but was close. It may be open during the summer time.
Dogs: There was many dog in the park and signs that the dogs needed to be leash.
